New experiences

Here is Lilian with her first try at rice cereal in her new high chair! She wasn't at all sure what to make of it all and wondered why her mum and dad were laughing so much! Her facial expressions were just classic! I guess we will just keep trying and one day she may work out how to eat off a spoon and not let all the food dribble down her chin!

More pics of Lilian

Here are some recent pics of the little monster....she still loves to stick her tongue out (don't know who she inherited THAT from!) and is getting very good at lying on her tummy!

Great Auntire Bridget knitted and sent us a beautiful cardigan all the way from New Zealand, Funky huh? She definitely needs it these days with temperatures in the minus fahrenheit!

And here is cousin Logan doing his superman impression!

Snow Sculpture contest 2007

Nathania, Lilian and I went to see the snow sculptures in downtown Anchorage...the freezing temperatures the last few weeks are not so good for most of us, but music to the ears of snow sculpturers...apparently...

Pictures from England

So here at last are a few pictures from our recent whirlwind trip to England with Nathania. We went to see family mostly but fitted in some sightseeing too....!

Nathania at the top oif Ivinghoe hill

The first snowman we make of the season is in England...can you believe it???!!!

Here is Great Grandma after whom Lilian is named. It was her 93rd birthday while we were there and I was so very happy to be able to intoduce her Great Grand-daughter to her at last!

Uncle Haden and Great Uncle Ali caused much amusement to Lilian! I have decided she likes to look at older men with white hair as she was fascinated by Uncle Ali and dad!

Here's the proud Grandpa...
And Uncle Vin!

And of course no blog would be complete without the obligatory picture of the child making a strange face!
